2013 Caterham Fireworks – starts at 6.30pm Saturday 2 November

Caterham Round Table announce the date of the 2013 fireworks spectacular.

To be held on the Dene Field, Church Hill, Caterham, this year’s display will be on Saturday the 3rd November. Gates open at 6.30pm, with an opportunity for the more adventurous to start at the Caterham-on-the-Hill Library with a torch lit procession to the site.

See our Fireworks Poster 2013.

Once there the crowd will be entertained with music and kiddies funfair. Whilst waiting for the fire to be lit, (look out for the themed lighting) you can get yourself a burger or a sausage in a bun, and once again there’ll be mulled wine to drive away any chills. The display this year is being run by a new company, the Knights of Fire who promise a show set to music to blow your mind.

The Caterham Round Table use the firework display as one of several events in the district to raise money for good causes. This year as well as supporting the scouts and the Dene hospital any money raised will be used to fund local groups. Posters will be out next month and tickets will be on sale at a number of shops and locations. Discounts for early booking and young children are free.

Caterham Fireworks officer and previous chairman Pete Dommett says ‘This year the focus will be on the display, more oohs and aahs for the family to enjoy.’
